Reaching decision-makers at volunteer fire departments isn't easy. But that didn't stop the Whetstone call team from getting through to tell them about FirstVoice -- a self-contained emergency treatment system that helps the first person on the scene of an emergency -- often the fire department -- administer proper medical treatment.

The list of 217 rural, volunteer fire departments in five midwestern states was first sent a postcard explaining the interactive product. Whetstone's call team was able to set 19 leads, resulting in a 9% appointment rate.
